During a prize drawing at our store, one of our most loyal clients won the Wand. Months later, after learning of a Studio 2015 owner’s cancer diagnosis, the customer gifted the pendant back with a note expressing hope, well-wishes, and her belief that the pendant would bring good luck to owners April and Tom Dougherty as they went through their difficult time.

April wore the pendant throughout her treatment, ultimately beating the odds and becoming one of the millions of women in the U.S. who live with or have a history of cancer.

Studio 2015 Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As the second most common cancer in women after skin, breast cancer affects millions across the U.S. Nearly 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in her lifetime, according to an American Cancer Society fact sheet.

Organizations like the National Breast Cancer Foundation are dedicated to increasing awareness, helping women recognize the signs early. According to the American Cancer Society, early detection of localized breast cancer has a 5-year relative survival rate of 99%.
