Cornerstone of Woodstock commerce will be relocating to Woodstock Square in November

Dougherty Enterprises Inc. is pleased to announce that their Studio 2015 Jewelers is becoming Studio D Jewelers. The new name will also involve a new location, opening the week of November 16th on the historic Woodstock Square. Two store locations will be open through the holiday season, offering customers the same tremendous levels of personal service and selection they’ve come to expect over the last 40 years.

Studio D Jewelers will be located at 118 N. Benton Street on the Square. The store will specialize in custom jewelry and carry many of the same designer lines that are offered at the current Catalpa Street location, including Carla CorporationKIRSylvieUno de 50, Peter Storm, Simon G, and more.

“Studio as an entity, and the Dougherty Family, have been a huge part of the Woodstock business and community landscape for over four decades,” said Wayne Read, President of Dougherty Enterprises. “Studio D Jewelers has significance by not only acknowledging the legacy of the family name but also symbolizes the highest possible color grade for a diamond – reflecting the focus on quality that is built into our DNA.”

Second generation owner Bret Dougherty added “Studio D Jewelers being on the Square will allow us to engage on an even greater level with not only our customers but with the community in general, which has always been a high priority for our family. We look forward to taking part in the events held on the Square, and partnering with other local retailers to support one another, in 2020 and for years to come.”

“The layout in the new location is going to be even more inviting to everyone,” said Tracy Gibson, Manager of Studio D Jewelers. “We will have what we’re calling a Play Area that will allow visitors to touch and feel pieces for themselves; we’re very mindful of the timing and will be taking great care of our visitors with hand sanitizer all around the store, regular intense cleanings, and all of our team members are masked and have temperature checks. We’ll continue to offer the highest level of welcoming service, whether you are looking to create a custom piece with one of our artisan jewelers, make a purchase from one of our hand-selected vendor lines, or have a repair done in-house. We are excited to be an even bigger part of the Woodstock community.”

Both the current Catalpa store and new Benton Street locations will be open through the holidays. Visitors can make an appointment ahead of time or just stop by either location. Studio D Jewelers will be open for Ladies Night Out on Thursdays through the holiday season and is participating in other events planned by the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce as well.
